Dongne Rank
A local platform where verified residents propose and vote on the shops their neighborhood needs, and the votes become neighborhood demand data.

About the project
Dongne Rank collects rankings that residents give their own neighborhoods, and proposals for the shops they wish they had nearby. Instead of gathering reviews, it focuses on turning demand for shops that do not exist yet into numbers.
Only residents who verify their neighborhood by location can vote. Proposals and votes appear on each neighborhood page together with public data such as population and commercial statistics, and founders or landlords looking for a location join as partners to see demand in the areas they care about.
An in-house service that HankyeulLab planned, designed, built and runs.

Turning proposals and votes into neighborhood data
Two ways to join
New members choose between resident and business partner. Login works with Kakao, Naver, Google, Apple or email.
Location-based verification
Residents verify their neighborhood with their current location before they can vote on its proposals. The home screen shows proposals, votes and the most wanted business types for that neighborhood.
Shop proposals and votes
A proposal names the business type or shop, the preferred location and why it is needed, and neighbors vote for or against it. Popular proposals rise to the top of the home screen.
Neighborhood explorer
Picking a district on the map shows population figures such as total population, density and average age, together with the spread of local businesses.
Commercial area search
Searching by area and business type ranks neighborhoods by the number of businesses in public data.
Partner dashboard
Partners set the areas and business types they follow and check demand in those areas on a dashboard.
