About the project
A live message wall for talks, seminars, weddings and other gatherings. Attendees scan a QR code with their phone, leave a message without signing up, and the message appears on the screen in the room.
Messages are not approved in advance. Instead, profanity and spam are filtered automatically and the operator hides problem messages as they appear. On a service like this the screen matters more than the feature list, so we built several themes and layouts.
An in-house service that HankyeulLab planned, built and runs.

From one QR scan to the big screen
No sign-up
After scanning the QR code, a nickname is optional and a random name is used if it is left empty. Messages of up to 140 characters are sent anonymously.
Reactions and reports
Attendees react to messages with one of six emoji and can report problem messages.
The big screen
The room display shows the event name and subtitle, a QR code to join and the message count, and messages with many reactions grow automatically.
Themes and layouts
Four themes, conference, wedding, concert and LED, and four layouts, bubbles, rising, ticker and masonry, are chosen to fit the event.
Operator console
Operators hide messages in real time, review reports and switch the banned-word and profanity filters. After the event they see the statistics and export the record as CSV.
