About the project
Moohan Technical Translation translates technical documents and patents. We brought industry-standard translation QA and regex checklists to the web, so in-house staff and freelance translators check and fix files against the same rules.
The screens were refined through rounds of revisions from the client, and the system later grew to include AI translation and AI post-editing review. It is linked to the translation portal so users move between the two from a single menu item.

Upload, check, and download the fixed file
Bilingual files as they are
Trados (.sdlxliff) and memoQ (.mqxliff) files are shown segment by segment, with source and target side by side.
Checks
Four basic checks and eleven content checks run alongside checklists, glossaries and spelling checks in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
Regex checklists
As in Xbench, users write their own source and target patterns as regular expressions, group them, and import or export them in Excel.
Fixes written back
Edits made on screen are written back into the original file with formatting tags preserved, and an Excel report highlights the errors.
AI translation and post-editing review
With glossaries, translation memory and style guides as references, users create a first draft with machine translation or a large language model, and run a review that returns corrections and comments per segment.
One login with the portal
Coming from the translation portal menu signs users in automatically with a signed token that is valid for five minutes.
